Figured I'd go on the fly from rusty memory, staying quietish at this hour. Still , I haven't been really going overboard in drinking lately, just been in a shit situation, and I'm leaving this fucking American horror story hotel this week

Shout out to Willie

Send requests. I'll try for more polished takes... Decided to stop for a drink and shot at Chinese bar and a negress is hitting on me, or at least giving me compliments... What's your deeper take on the song

It sounds like it's somewhat of a happyish song on the surface. Some people even think it's about an acid trip. But it's not. It's actually about anxiety and panic attacks.

In a nutshell: Mickey (Dean Ween / Deaner) used to have bad anxiety and panic attacks. Aaron (Gene Ween / Geener) used to be the one that talked him down and helped him get calm. One day Aaron had a bad case of anxiety (panic attack) that kept him up all night (The sun comes up and I'm all washed out) and he got a first hand experience of what Mickey often went through (Is this what Deener was talkin' about). After which Aaron wrote that song.

Interesting. Thought it'd be the other way around. I just assumed overconsumption.

That's one of the best things about music. It can have whatever meaning you want it to.

Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.
