Creating games is not easy. I know, I've tried. I mean, it's not too hard to make a derivative board game with the same basic structure as other board games. We see people marketing these all the time. That's like putting a new skin on an existing software program. But to create something wholly original, like chess, that plays well, with an equal chance of winning for both sides, a definite win conclusion (as opposed to a draw), and lasts under two hours or so per game, is a living bitch of a difficult task, especially if you are trying to do it on your own. I'm close with a certain board game, which I won't describe, but getting the rules just right is the challenge. Everything has to balance. It can't be too simplistic, but it can't be so complex than nobody wants to learn it, either.
Lemme know when your game is completed
