As a kid, My beloved Grandmother moved into my aunt's house while dying of cancer for end of life care. Afterwards, the room reverted to a sun room/ play room and always had this really nice peaceful relaxing vibe.
Years late they sold the house, and more years went by, when i discovered one of my early 20's football buddies rented the house - after he threw a big end of year house-party there - Came to find out, he slept in the very room she passed away in - and when i told him about her passing in that room - he replied that he's never ever had as good a sleep until that room, and told me he feels super at peace whenever he was in there.
Conversely, my bud and his wife had just moved into this house and wanted me and my girlfriend of the time come babysit his two young kids, holy shit - the place was old af, just looked 'off', up a long dark tree lined drive - pitch black outside at night and semi rural - so nearest neighbor was hundreds of feet away. All night - could hear mumbles / whispering / soft voices talking just under the sound of the Tv - coming from the hallway or through the wall of the room next door - turn the sound down nothing - walk into the hall and next room nothing there at all - go sit back down watch tv - few minutes later would start back up again - both of us were looking at each other like wtf - then we began to hear footsteps out in the hall on the creaky floor boards and sounds of doors in the house slowly being open or closed, along with the voices. (their kids were fast asleep and only 3 or 4yrs old). When my bud and his wife returned at like 3 or 4 in the morning and we told them exactly wtf happened - they were like 'Yeah, ikr. We're moving the fck outer here asap'. Dude wanted us to babysit again before they did move out - Nope!.
There are some places in this world that just feel wrong.
concur.
The one house with the bad bedroom is the only place I've ever been that there was some sort of irrational fear of me going in.
Sure, I've been places where I looked in and said "Hey, that looks sketch as fuck, not going in there," but not like this.
