I'm sure this guy probably was a good sniper. But it really amuses me that folks are quick to call out Soviet or Chink WW2 propoganda, but this absolutely happened as told.
So this is... Finnish propaganda? I'm pretty sure there's a lot of corroborating evidence of his deeds.
There's a lot of stuff that says he shot a lot of people. The range is really wide, like hundreds in differences. And in the Winter War with the Soviets no real accountability with bodies. And he def was used in Finnish propoganda.
So did he shoot "a lot" of Soviet soldiers. Probably.
Was it hundreds in a matter of weeks? I doubt it, and I doubt anyone really knows what the real number was.
Yeah good point. How many communists did he really kill? The correct answer is: not nearly enough.
