Came from a meme account on X but yeah, I always say Merry Christmas when someone says Happy Holidays.
Would you prefer I post way more X links? I post many as it is. It's a hassle b/c i also do the nitter and x links so people w/o an x account can see the replies etc. My main motivation is in part laziness but also aesthetics. I don't want to make this place seem like a secondary x feed.
Not necessarily. I don't even use X. I thought about it a few times but it back when I did use it my average account lasted maybe 4 or 5 weeks at the most.
Went out running errands yesterday and today. Not one person said "Happy Holidays". Everyone said "Marry Christmas". That is even in this blue hellhole.
Interesting. So far everyone has said Happy Holidays to me. Not sure why. My guess is the war on Christmas has been going on for so long now it's probably "muscle memory" for people to stay out of trouble. Not me. He..he...he....
Say the same thing to them, but clearly pronounce it “Happy holy days”.
