I gotta say, these stories confuse me. Wasn't Hitler the HMFIC in Germany during WW2? So these guys serving in the army were serving the German military? So aren't they really employed by germany and following the orders of their commander in chief? And now the government of germany is putting them on trial for doing stuff that the government of germany made them do?
