The National Trust has figured out why the BLM protesters vandalised a statue of Robert the Bruce:
While it is was not immediately apparent what the graffiti was referencing, it may relate to the fact that Bruce had his heart taken on a crusade following his death in 1329, the centre said.
So, to be precise, Robert the Bruce was guilty of Posthumous Racism because his embalmed heart was taken crusading against the Muslim invaders in Granada.
So if you had stopped the vandalisers that day, and said "What are you doing!?" That is what they would have told you. "His heart was taken on a crusade to Granada by Sir James Douglas to join forces with King Alfonso XI of Castile in a racist attack on the forces of Muhammad IV, Sultan of Granada!" That is what the young BLM folk would have told you, you see?

The National Trust go on to describe the Muslim forces in Granada as "predominantly (perhaps exclusively) black." That gets us into the debate of who the Saracens predominantly looked like: Zinedine Zidane, or George Floyd? The National Trust says George Floyd.
