I've always known that. I just heard the song this morning and figured I'd post it.
There are many songs with this as a theme. Eric Clapton wrote one about the wife of George Harrison. When Harrison's career slowed down she divorced him and married Clapton. When Clapton's career slowed she monkey-branched again. Later Clapton and Harrison went on tour together in what they called "The Husbands In-Law Tour." It was a boost to both of their careers. Sometimes a well lived life truly is the best revenge.
