I was thinking about communism today and it occurs to me, it's a direction, not a destination. There is no end goal. Everytime people talk about things related to communism, the only concepts you hear are very abstract like utopia, democracy, clean energy, inclusive, safe and other non descript terms. There is never anything tangable or concrete. It actually doesn't exist. It's a journey with no destination. It only has a direction. This explains why nothing ever fails... there are no metrics, goals or benchmarks. Even terms morph in order to keep you on the journey. First, it's global cooling, later global warming, later climate change, later over population, later misinformation, later multiple genders, later pronouns and on and on. It can't end because there's nothing there.

Well, when you put it that way it makes a lot more sense when people say stupid things like "but that wasn't real communism". That's because there is no "real communism".
