If you have some time and space and a little bit of $$ you can just build stuff if you want to. You don't need permission. You don't need a engineering degree (reading helps).

I think I'm going to build a experimental aircraft once I move and have the space for it.
Because, why the fuck not? However, I will buy a parachute and not make my own.. That I feel like would be a bad idea. I am not very good at sewing.
