Why exclude vets? Not all vets served with honor, some got in, and immediately get married and shit out babies, then quit as soon as their time is up. Some join, then blow out a knee in basic and get discharged.
Where as a steel worker could work hard for decades, get in an accident, lose the job, lose all money in medical bills, and end up in a shitty spot. They did more than some vets, but dont get the special class privileges of being a veteran.

Because of it? Never ever implied that. In spite of it? Absolutely. We should compensate our worthy veterans enough that they don't have to be exempt from rules. Need to be net positive on taxes? Why can a vet not do that? No voting for any one on gov assistance? Whys the vet not been paid well enough to not need gov assistance? No voting for gov employees? Why exempt vets from that, they are subject to massive amounts of govt indoctrination, more so than a DMV succubus.
