It's well known that the 4chan hivemind is better at coming up with what becomes culturally relevent phrases and ideas and is then seen by some as superior. But what do you think Reddit see's from their perspective. They have basically the same opinion of themselves, as a hivemind. The question is if either one deserves to feel a sense of absolute superiority. 4chan is just as degenerate. While a few posts succeed in having an impact on the world most content is garbage, not to say that's aweful and deserving some chastisement, but 99.9% of the content can't be described as being worthy of a superiority complex. Yet it still has one. Reddit has its obvious flaws. Hatred of science that goes against their naratives. Complete shutouts of content that would help them to be less moronic only to find out months later that they were idiots, but then never admit it to themselves (see Nick Sandman). I guess my point is less about Reddit and 4chan specifically, but really the narcisism of hiveminds generally.
Does Poal have a hivemind? Is our hivemind able to admit the potiencial of superior hiveminds to ourselves? Is a hivemind that does that the pinical of a healthy hivemind as would be the case for an individual mind? Or is it for there to not be a hivemind at all? Should a hivemind that admits the existance of superior hiveminds feel proud of its ability to do so or should it feel ashamed to exist at all? What do you think it would be like for a hivemind to go through therapy? Do you think I could ever be hired as a hivemind therapist? Which hivemind should likely go on meds? Do you think there is any hivemind that isn't narcisistic?
