It used to be common practice. If someone lets you cut in front of their vehicle you show a little appreciation and throw a friendly wave as a thank you. People virtually never do this anymore, everyone has an entitlement or fuck you mentality. Little gestures like this go a long way in a society.

Hahaha yep, we wave all the time. It's just a friendly acknowledgment that you're sharing the road, they see you, God bless, say hi to your mother for me, etc.

It's too bad I didn't grow up in a place like this. Whole personality would have been different.
