That gas was because the belt on the exhaust fan snapped like a car belt and the etcher had been releasing gas as always it's not a sealed system and unlike usual the gas just built up. My boss was so pissed, I got a large pedistal fan like 50 lbs and the wall outlet was 10 feet into the gassed area and I hooked up an extension cord and just ran to the outlet and plugged it in and ran out. It was worse when I spilled some fresh on the floor, almost passed out cleaning it up. I also watched frustrated as the owner my manager and the engineer tried to fix the auto pump that pumped the stuff into the etcher tank. It works like a toilet float but not an arm but rides on a metal rod and it was covered with a crust of etch and copper. In the shop it's go go go but they were there for 3 hrs, I just pushed politely past them and they were so mad when I reached into the machine with my bare hands and pushed the float forcefully down breaking off all the etch in a 130 degree tank. I also one time when the treater "makes water clean enough to go back out of the factory with everything like acid caustic and metals removed from it" overflowed and low percentage like 2% acid liquid with some copper and lead like super small amounts, flooded the room one time, everyones looking for rubber wader to the knee boots but they all leaked to were like size 8 means way to small. Me I just walked to the door way excuse me, kicked my shoe off, removed socks, and pulled pants up to knees. The shit will eat holes when dried in clothing but wet not a problem. I just walking into barefoot into a foot of this shit and plugged in sump and then carried it to our engineer who him and the boss and owner had been talking and planning for over an hour while the tank overflowed and the electroplating lines were off since they constantly fill the tank with rinse runoff. I was the lowest paid there and would do obvious things to get shit working while the highest paid would talk about it. I never got written up but did get WTF were you thinking many times for this stuff but saved the company 1000's by doing it.

No, it was one broke ass company just slowly going under with Obama's leadership allowing Chinese or Chinese based american companies flood the market so we couldn't compete and went out of business eventually from customers all start using chinese boards and it was just a year before Trump so if Trump was sooner the company would be still alive and kicking and maybe updated since half the stuff in there was either self fabricated in the shop, jimmy rigged 70's 80's machines using dos or windows 98 just to run and not that well, or just manual labor like drilling a 1000 registry holes on 3 boards at a time on a tiny drill press or cutting stuff with a manual metal shear that made my back ache so bad some days. I worked in pain half the time just because it was on of the few places in town besides the lower paid jobs working at a convenience store. Funny now the convenience store jobs in my state pay $4 hr more under Trump than the factory job that paid more before under Obama. It's a joke the democrat voters still deny he's a good leader with this and no inflation but I'm sure towns and states have raised taxes to offset his work so there is no bigger paycheck which fools idiots that don't pay attention to the amounts in the boxes for taxes on their check stubs.
