It's a mixed bag. Long ago, in the dawn of time, when dinosaurs roamed the Earth, I was in BP. Everything you do has a political element attached to it. I wish there was some way to convey the incandescent level of frustration felt by the rank and file right now. There was a time not so long ago, that any BP agents in the area would have formed up, made a quick plan and gone in without waiting around for anyone else. But those days are gone. And we are the worse off for it. I can guarantee he got called on the carpet by the brass (for interfering with the operation and for saving his kid), but at the same time the guys in the rank and file would approve. He had to tread a fine line. As a father, his instinct is to save his own, at a minimum. No man stands by and watches when his kids are endangered. But the Man inside him probably wanted to go for the rest, but that would have been a "bridge to far" for the political creatures that run the BP right now. So he had to settle for half a loaf. It's a shitty situation, but there it is.
