Yes and no. Some people are likely genetically inclined to be gay. At the same time some people have bought all the propaganda as an easy way to be considered "special". It was theorized long ago that the gay community should go this route b/c if they prove a genetic link then the technology is around the corner if not already here to correct it. Would parents interested in gene editing choose to increase the likelihood of grand kids. It's all very interesting and relates to more than just homos. At the end of the day procreation is the closest we've come to immortality. People would choose to increase odds.
