That prize seems incredibly small, for such a discovery. Like: this is why I hate awards. By the time the normies are ready to recognize anything, it's basically ancient history. There's so much more interesting shit that's happened, since then. This is why I like listening to "quacks": they're usually proven right, eventually.

You can employ discernment whilst lending an ear to the crazies, you know. Every major scientific discovery was held, first, by some loon, before someone finally decided to look in to it. Some were even killed for it. Scientific suppression is a thing. Pharmaceutical monopolies are a thing.

I wonder if we'l ever build a big enough particle accelerator to answer all the quesitons. I don't think so, since once new particles are discovered, new questions arise and new hypotheses come with them. Mankind will always need a bigger accelerator, or some new physics that allows us to make more efficient use of existing equipment.
