Listening to my instincts got me out of a lot of trouble in life. Like this shit with "vaccines".

Sad to see how many people are no longer in touch with their instincts and have 0 intuition.

I keep hearing about that book, but never got around to reading it. Will have to find an audiobook since I'm to busy to sit down and read lately, but thanks.

I also recommend reading "On Combat" by Dave Grossman, I have a physical copy, haven't been able to find it as free pdf.

[–] 1 pt 3y

Don't bother. Grossman is so full of shit his eyes are brown. I remember when he testified before a congressional committee and said with absolute confidence that the cause of teen violence was playing violent video games like "DOOM" (the original Doom. The cartoony one that my grand-daughters laugh at).

Repeatedly refers to video games as murder simulators, engages in some ridiculous "well in MY generation...", and packs in heaps of pseudoscience. His book is less about "The Psychological Cost of Learning to Kill in War and Society" and more about the twisted and perverse views of Freudian sexuality and its link to killing.

The book’s foundation is SLA Marshall’s long debunked fabricated statistics from “Men Against Fire.” From this foundation of horseshit, he build a wall of more horseshit. Draws a correlation between the training methods employed by the US Army and the increase in solider aggression (an illusion based on the previous Marshal data), he manages to both condemn and praise the increased lethality of the US military both at the same time.

The book slaps a hideous roof on this monument to bad science by hiding behind no less an authority than Jack Thompson. If the name Jack Thompson sounds familiar, it’s because he was the Florida lawyer who made national headlines in the mid-2000s with his crusade against violent video games. A crusade which ended with Thompson’s disbarment and disgrace.

My guy told me no. My mind told me would you rather be the guy that dies of covid or the guy that dies of a vaccine. I'll take the former.

[–] 0 pt 3y

What does your guy tell you about boosters?

[–] 3 pts 3y

Trust your reason. Your instincts and your feelings will lead you down the garden path, but reason will never fail you. All those fascist losers who are swallowing the liberal narrative about climate change and Covid trusted their feelings and their herd instinct, to run with the pack, to be like everyone else, and look where it got them. Think for yourself. Trust your ability to tell truth from fiction.

Probably by "instincts" author of this post meant intuition, gut feeling and not an emotional state.

Also

>fascist losers who are swallowing the liberal narrative

C'mon man, they have nothing to do with fascism, get your shit together.

[–] 2 pts 3y

They just think "how can I be wrong if people around me agree". They don't even care if it makes sense.

[–] 1 pt 3y

We are all fascists here, faggots you refer to are communists. Don't be a reddit boomer nigger retard jew faggot kike tranny.

[–] 3 pts 3y

Couldn’t agree more. It is something I have hammered home to my children. The number of people who get into shitty situation or are killed because they ignored their instincts is amazing. Never put aside instinct for the sake of not wanting to offend or be seen as impolite or rude. If a person(s) or situation seems ‘fucky’, it’s because it is.

I instinctively avoid the groid

Around blacks? It's a bad idea.

Instincts and intuition are racist!

[–] 1 pt 3y

I followed your advice and like magic my closet filled up with nigger skeletons.

Your instincts are also counter to your best interests and success. Since our instincts developed for an environment that has not existed for thousands of years.

Your instincts are optimized for tribal life with around 40-120 people who were almost all your relatives. The only people living this type of lifestyle are isolated and protected tribal peoples such as the Sentinelese or the various South American uncontacted tribes.

So don't trust your instincts. Trust your intellect and wisdom after years of honing both. Temper both with education. And don't stop there: your learning and education should never stop until the day you die.

Your instincts can be improved with these things such as meeting a new person. Your intuition will tell you that this person is bad or good.

The Ultimate Truth

[–] 0 pt 3y

Anyone who thinks that a psychological capacity for violence or the mental capability to fight and kill with confidence is a negative or undesirable trait to possess is either an imbecile not worth listening to, or a deceiver trying to disarm you.

Guns don't kill people, people with guns don't kill people, people with guns AND brains that give them the ability to use guns to kill other people, are what kill people (with guns).

drunkposting in a science sub about listening to your intuition/inner spirit

kek Also, obviously. Always trust your intuition. It's one of the things that makes you strong. Everyone has an intuition and can tap in to it. It can also be worked like a muscle or be naturally strong, just like different body compositions can be more inclined to an athletic build. Nonetheless, anyone can have big forearms, so work your intuitive muscle - train it and learn how to "lift heavier objects" with it.
