Slippery Slope is a real thing but needs evidence you can't just say if we do x then y will happen with no proof
If we let homosexuals adopt young, innocent boys said boys will become playthings for the homosexuals.

That is a slippery slope backed by evidence. Homosexuals make up 36% of convicted child molesters while being less than 10% of the population.
Less than 3% of the population:
