Human cells can divide only about 25 times. After that they become senescence (stop dividing). By the time a cell reaches senescence, its epigenome is pretty messed up, which is the main cause of aging. This discovery allows the cells to continue dividing but it does nothing to repair the epigenome. This might turn out to like one of those Star Trek movies where people live forever but are completely rotten and barely functioning.
Like Mr. House from New Vegas.
The result will be cancer, and even of that's avoided, and aging is stopped, you can still die by things like disease and injury.
