Parkinsons patients have much more oxidative stress in their brains than most people. This can occur due to extreme exposure to toxins, but it can also occur when your body doesn't produce sufficient amounts of Glutathione. Glutathione is the body's master anti-oxidant and works to remove toxins from the body. It also has other important functions such as recycling vitamins C & E in your body and strengthening your immune system -- and it has anti-cancer properties.
Here's an example of the miraculous benefit of Gluathione in a 66 year old veteran who was exposed to Agent Orange, where traditional medications have not helped him. Watch the turn around 1/2 hr after receiving a 3000 mg IV of Glutathione:

Why haven't you heard of Glutathione? Likely because it's natural and your doctor doesn't understand it -- and big Pharma can't profit off of it.
What causes the body to not make sufficient levels of Glutathione? Scientists have identified two reasons:
(1) Impaired liver due to obesity, alcohol use and even insulin resistance (Glutathione is made in the liver)
(2) A common genetic defect that impairs the metabolic process (approx 50% of the population have some form of this defect, known as MTHFR, with 30 percent of that population having a severe form).
So how do you increase your body's Glutathione? One way is to supplement with precurors such as NAC (N-Acetyl Cysteine). (However, if you have the genetic defect I mentioned above, your body may not be able to sufficiently convert NAC into Glutathione). Eating more cruciferous vegetables high in sulfur can improve Glutathione levels as well.
Defense Against COVID
Doctors are now recommending adding NAC to your supplement routine to boost your immune system against COVID: the ability of your T-cells and lymphocytes to respond when faced with a challenge depends on whether there's an adequate amount of glutathione in your cells for immune regulation . But lo and behold, Amazon has just decided to pull NAC from it's website. Very suspicious timing indeed:

Caution: Keep in mind that excessive Glutathione in the system in the presence of tumors can be protective of the cancer (while elevated levels are beneficial in fighting cancer). You can take a simple blood test to determine if you have adequate glutathione in your body -- ask your doctor for this test, because it's not a routine test doctors administer.
