Boron is a trace mineral needed by your body that beneficially affects bone growth and central nervous system function, alleviates arthritic symptoms, facilitates hormone action and is associated with a reduced risk for some types of cancer. It's no longer in the food supply in adequate quantities because it's been stripped from the soil due to industrial farming.

Boron has been known to:

  • Strengthen bones (even reversing osteoporosis)
  • Eliminate arthritis (countries such as Jamaica with the lowest levels of Boron in the diet have the highest levels of arthritis, while Israel has high Boron and low incidence of arthritis)
  • Remove dangerous levels of fluoride from your brain
  • Increase testosterone
  • Remove excess calcium from the body (which contributes to hardening of the arteries)
  • Reduce blood pressure
  • Improve thyroid function
  • Increase effectiveness of Cancer treatments
  • Remove parasites from the body
  • Kill Candida

One method (albeit a bit controversial) is to use Borax to supplement boron in your diet. It must be done carefully however. Read about it at EarthClinic.com

Personal Story:

I started taking boron a few years ago. My body went through a detox as a result. I felt like I had the flu for a couple of weeks (it wasn't the flu -- I didn't have a fever). This tells you how powerful boron is in helping rid your body of toxins.

I've been taking a boron supplement for years. I'm not sure why you're even suggesting borox though. I mean, you can do that, but...why? It's a cheaply available supplement. I take a tripple boron supplement that includes three types of boron to cover the range of what your body needs.

Yep, I agree. I started with Borax and have kept it up. Many people go with the capsules of Boron and indeed it is relatively inexpensive

Do you have a brand name or link to the supplement you take? Thanks!

Sure, I take this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07F92W9MK/ref=redir_mobile_desktop?_encoding=UTF8&aaxitk=8df14c24d9a510f0d416d954f06dc541&hsa_cr_id=9133152270601&pd_rd_plhdr=t&pd_rd_r=94d3bb4a-26ba-45e4-89b9-f4474e36434e&pd_rd_w=tvjSd&pd_rd_wg=qWdMe&ref_=sbx_be_s_sparkle_mcd_asin_0_img

I've read that boron is like the sibling of iodine, so those two, plus a trace mineral complex with fulvic acid are the only supplements I take at the moment. I've shifted towards taking beef organ supplements instead, because it's more like getting your nutrients from your food. Of course, ideally, we'd be getting all our nutrients covered by our local food and water supplies, but that's a long story, as I assume you know.

Excellent, thanks! Yes I take iodine too, it helps.

I agree the state of our food supply (and diet) is very sad in the US. The only way is to supplement.
