e.g. 100 / 20 = 5
In other words 20 is 1/5th of 100 or 100 is 5x 20
Let's put it all together.....
IFR rates
- Unvaccinated 151,054 / 253 = 0.0016748
- Vaccinated 402 / 47008 = 0.0085517
Comparison
- 0.00855 / 0.00167 = 5.1197
In other words you are 5.11 times more likely to die with the vaccine.
