But the study is no longer blind. People bring their own biases, so you can't let them know if they got a placebo or the real thing. And especially with the politics around this shot, I don't know how you can test efficacy and safety now because everyone will lie about their symptoms and downplay them. Maybe you could get an estimate based on the rate of hospital visited for vaxxed and nonvaxxed with serious respiratory issues, by age group?
