Tesla vs. Edison power models.
I think we need to transition to Teslas vision
That is honestly a pretty retarded take on it. We are talking about huge turbines and having to drill deep deep into the earth for the remote chance at using it to generate electricity if not in a "hot zone".
If you want to generate your own private grid geothermal electrical power in a remote location you will either need to fund millions of dollars of drilling and equipment (and transportation), or pick other more available sources for power depending on the location.
Did you assume putting turbines down bottom of wells rather than simply creating a temperature differential that reaches a small surface turbine? Did you not know about thermal conductivity?
That's retarded.
FYI the philosophy behind my comment. Which you do easily dismissed. Is about the need for distributed production of electricity vs. Concentrated production.
And its happening right now
I was never part of any conversation about putting turbines anywhere in a hole. You clearly lack the basics of reading comprehension.
What I called retard was exactly "distributed production of electricity " as it relates to geothermal power considering places where it is easily sourced are rare and deep drilling is not possible/viable in every location on earth, or even environmentally safe if you expect to grow your own food in the area.
Just because Edison was a worthless kike that did more damage than he did good does not mean that distributed systems are always better than centralized ones.
Is every single household going to have giant drilling operation just to take advantage of one single source of renewable energy? Or is picking a more viable set of choice per location the obvious choice for distributed systems?
The benefits and disadvantage of Geothermal power will as things currently stand make it lean towards centralized systems, your feelings wont change that.
