So how did this level for what passes as high cholesterol be derived at?
A committee of specialists made up the arbitrary number. On that committee were many Statin drug company owners. They had a vested interest in lowering the figure so they did.
Boom millions of more people now free to be sold expensive drugs that do not help ppl.
Why? Because cholesterol is produced by the body when it's needed. Itss a symptom of other issues when so called bad cholesterol is high. Statin drugs inhibit the bodies own healing mechanism.
No fraud involved. Just corruption.
