That's generally not good, but if it doesn't bother you then just keep track of it. Pupils have their own set of muscles, or something along those lines to control the contraction.

Caucasians' baseline pupil size more correlates to Caucasians' fluid intelligence than other races, meaning that baseline pupil size is a better indicator for Caucasians than it is for other races.
It's easiest to understand what I mean when you move the lines to the same base intelligence. Imagine those three lines all starting from the same point with their same trajectories maintained.
If it's only useful for caucasians that's okay. I can't see pupils well in blacks or asians because their irises are so very dark that I have a hard time seeing the difference or where iris ends and pupil begins.

Hypothesis: blacks have smaller average pupils than whites while asians have larger pupils. Not like we need another confirmation point, but it doesn't hurt. Evolutionarily based on region and sun exposure/angles, I'm pretty sure that is true, but there aren't really studies I can find on it.
Wow, I was only always told that big pupils were a sign of sexual arousal (as mentioned in the article). Now I'm going to be prejudiced against all the beady-pupiled people.

In my school, the pupils were sorted by their intelligence, not their height. If you implement that kind of a program, what's that going to do for girls? Most of them are shorter than... oh... their eyes. Never mind.

One hypothesis is that people who have larger pupils at rest have greater regulation of activity by the locus coeruleus, which benefits cognitive performance and resting-state brain function.
