Consciousness/self-awareness.

Physics is incomprehensible at its core. But if you accept the basic abstract qualities, you can understand it mechanistically. That two things react a certain way when close enough doesn't imply anything like consciousness or self-awareness. Again, it becomes meaningless to define all interaction as awareness.

Why? If it is accurate?

Words discriminate between things. If everything is considered aware, then the word doesn't mean much.

Of course it does, does your awareness of your body invalidate my awareness even though it's common between us? Even though we have common awareness the way we use it is different.

Do you think before you feel, or feel before you think? Or is it a process where one leads to the other, which is the original then? The thought or the feeling? You could feel long before you could talk right? We don't experience reality, we experience a ghost of reality put together by our brain, that is a thought. Therefore feeling came before the thought.

How many people think the feeling originates from the thought? That is a mental disorder, to think a thought dictates your feelings and not the other way around. You always start at the feeling side, just like matter reacts with other matter, they "feel" each other's presence they mingle and heat up. The energy released afterwards is the "deed" the "thought". You feel something, that feeling generates thoughts, which further motivate you in a chain reaction.

Walking is a chain reaction that originates from the feeling of needing to move. You're not aware of how you move, you just do it, without using thought to do it. Without thinking, trillions and trillions of cells all orchestrate in unison to move you. Thinking is part of that original feeling, not the originator of anything. Just because thoughts can perpetuate feelings does not give thought the same value as the actual feeling.

Thoughts on their own, while powerful, can only create fake feelings, you'll know they're fake because of how quickly you can snap out of them. Imagine if you lose your phone, or your keys, and you search and search and can't find them. Then you do, how quickly you forget. Your thoughts were wrong and your feeling immediately changed. That's just an illusion, the feeling was there first, you wanted to lose them, you wanted to feel that way.

Did it serve you to feel that way? Was it constructive or productive in any way?

You can determine how you feel once you let go of your thoughts, which are illusions anyway. Easily done.

Then you feel nothing, and see how everything just starts falling into place around you without effort. Your body, your relationships, your posture, everything just starts changing to the feeling you originate on your own.

There are varying levels of awareness.

Otherwise, you could just as well say that the number 2 doesn't mean much.

How can you be self-aware without something to measure yourself against?
