Different person managing it. They started out distilling some of voat's worst aspects (one note, hive mind, people being really fucking rude to each other almost exclusively) seems to have gotten a bit better but they may have made a backhanded threat to dox people, and apparently the backend is some untrustworthy company (I don't know enough about that to evaluate the claim for accuracy).
Still, I'll lurk there occasionally and some of their stories don't also pop up here.
