Is there anybody arguing that atmospheric CO2 levels are directly harmful to humans?
Strawmen argue that.
Isnt that what the whole carbon tax argument is all about?
Nope, it's about climate destabilization
Rocks have lines in them and it's not due to stability.
Isnt that what the whole carbon tax argument is all about?
No. Not even a little bit.
Concentrated CO2 is harmful. It causes discomfort, irritability, increases inflamation of asthma and other issues. The usual set point for occupied spaces is between 800 and 1000 ppm. Source: am engineer and I use ASHRAE 62.1 regularly.
CO2 is not the bogeyman the envirotards make it out to be. As CO2 in the atmosphere increases greenery also increases to compensate. It's a naturally occuring control loop. Major sources of CO2 include all the volcanoes that are going off every year among other natural sources that dwarf manmade sources. When God made this planet He made a highly resilient self-regulating ecosystem. We just live here.

I have never heard even the most retarded environmentalist claim that atmospheric CO2 is in danger of suffocating people, or any other plant or animal for that matter.
As CO2 in the atmosphere increases greenery also increases to compensate.
The simple fact that atmospheric CO2 levels are higher now than 50 years ago conclusively disproves this hypothesis.
