Title;
vegetable oils are unhealthy
You;
so using a vegetable oil is bad?
plz
Olives are a fruit.
When I get home if I remember I'll source this but olive oils , even 100% are mostly other oils including and especially soy.
This is true. In north america, what is sold on the shelf as olive oil is actualy mostlynot olive oild but mixed vegetable oil plust a bit of olive oil.
If you buy the pure olive oil, it is really expensive to begin with plus it doesn't taste that good. To me it tastes a lot like grass.
I've never eaten grass but it sure has a taste that I imagine grass would taste like.
People living in some of the Italian and Greek islands eat lot of olives and live the longest.
There is also a family in Italy that has a genetic defect that allows them to eat as much olive oil as they want and not affect their health ... whatever that means.
I think the gist here is that while vegetable oils are not healthy, humans have never really consumed oils in huge amounts to begin with.
It's probably not good to eat vast amounts of any kind of food including the good fats. Instead I think there is probably a low optimum intake rather than a volume for volume replacement at current western intake levels that we might want to aim for.
Nice correlation.
