Do you believe they are becoming more masculine though? I believe that women are playing at being males. And men are creating fake jobs to please them. Males are promoting women to improve their own mating opportunities. Or maybe females are trying to demonstrate that they can produce male sons that can succeed in the professional sphere. But I get the sense that rewarding females with jobs in the professional sphere that they are generally less good at then men, is some sort of offer made to females, a gift to curry favor with females in a reproductive context. Maybe CEOs and politicians are hoarding available females by employing them even though they aren’t actually mating with all of them? I feel the real danger is straying from monogamy. That is having some really interesting unintended consequences. But you have a good point about contraception. The catholics might have been right about that.
