Yet New Horizons went out there and found that, oopsie, the astronomers had mismeasured Pluto and it is actually larger than Eris, and is still the largest known solar system object beyond Neptune. The IAU fags are circling the wagons and claiming that even though they were wrong about Pluto's size, they're correct about its mass, and now mass is what defines a planet. Talk about moving the goalposts.
That's part of why the head of NASA gainsaid the idiots at the IAU and reinstated Pluto's planethood.
In a surprisingly semi-"based" move, The Big Bang Theory mocked Neil Dumbass Tyson for his role in demoting Pluto. NDT, the self-stylized racist "black science guy" who fabricates quotes and couldn't even place the Equator on the Earth, is the pointman for this supposed science. That's a big strike to its credibility.
