After finding out the daily volume of the spring, it turns out nestles "millions of gallons" they were requesting?
Yeah it amounted to only 2.5% of the spring output--when the spring is at 50% flow.
They wanted a tiny fraction of the river output for bottling.
But nestle is evil, just look at california. So why defend them?
Same thing with J&J.
Actually nestle is arguably worse, because they're pushing the privatization of public water, while goldman sachs pushes water exchanges/water markets, creating a market for commodity speculation on water--just what we need: more fucking crooks, messing with the price of one more thing in everyday life, at the expense of everyone else. They call it the "blue gold phenomenon". What a bunch of bullshit.
