I always get a quick outta these scientists who take it on themselves to do things that effect everyone without the slightest regard for the consequences ... just because they can. Examples like, we need to test this atomic bomb thing and it may burn off the Earth's atmosphere, we ain't sure, but we gotta. Same with that Hadron Collider deal in Europe ... we don't know what'll happen when we fire it up, but it's gotta be done. Now I'm not anti-science, the opposite in fact, I just always wonder whole the hell died and made you handful of fools speak for all mankind so to speak.
