I'm just saying, either the god of the bible is real and is evil, or the bible is bullshit. I havent a clue which is true though. But I know for a fact any book stating we should mutilate and torture children (it's in the first book, genesis) is evil. Which is what the bible tells us to do
So if there is no good (perfect in every way) God, then where do you get your standard of good? Who created you?
I think most people just have a moral compass built into them.
My parents created me...did you miss those couple weeks in school when they went over that?
How could evil be created, if it wasnt a part of the creator?
So, according to your first statement, everyone is there own God; deciding what is good and evil. That is a world I would never want to live in; lawless chaos.
Your parents did not create you. They attempted to have offspring and the good Lord blessed them with one. If it were possible, they would be able to determine your conception date, birth date and all your characteristics. Can an artist determine what he is going to paint ? Can a carpenter decide what he is going to build? That is creation.
