Pumping water into a supervolcano that is capable of pouring out enough volcanic ash to cover most of the US seems a bit nuts. Even the Midwest would need snowplows, which wouldn't run due to the engines being clogged, to clear it off. The advantage is that in thousands of years the farm belt topsoil will be kickass again. Even New Jersey's red dirt would become rich topsoil. I don't see this as a move to save us. Don't play with fire or volcanoes.
