I hate mosquitoes and all, but shit; loads of bats and birds and tings rely on them as a major food source.

This method only seems like a good idea until there is some massive containment breach or leak and then it massively overkills a mosquito population. On the flip side, I doubt there would ever be enough to kill all mosquitos on the planet; and they spawn so many eggs at a time.
