I once considered the Galaxy Note series the master race of mobile phones.
One of the reasons, next to stylus features, was that the Galaxy Note 3 and 4's 4K video recorded each frame of the video at a higher resolution (3840×2160) than the iPhone 5s and 6 photos (3264×2448)!
But what happened in 2015 is just sad.
When the S6 was released, I hoped they would not sacrifice the Note series, but when the Note 5 came out, it turned out to be exactly the power user's nightmare: (androidpolice.com) A larger S6 with stylus (and other minor differences).
Not that the Note 5 was a bad device, but the biggest disappointment is obvious. (en.everybodywiki.com)
