I'm sure they also don't know who killed him, when, where, how it would be done, how to make the bomb and detonate it remotely or anything else related to this. If US officials are any way involved I would be pleased to see them go to a fair trial for murder, preferably at the Lubyanka, followed by a lawfully administered sentence if found guilty in a duly constituted court of law, of course.
