That was a good read, thanks. As was stated in the article, the current administration must stop further escalation of the Ukraine situation, of its own making, before things get too out of hand.

Truth....except they are increasing the escalation. Zelensky and Blinken came out and said Russia must be designated "State Sponsor of Terror", (a designation the USA uses to justify regime change invasions) and Zelensky said US must use nukes pre-emptively against Russia.
Russia, meanwhile, held an actual vote in the occupied areas of Ukraine, asking people there if they want Russia to leave, or stay. A "stay" vote will mean that Russia will officially annex those areas, reinforce them, treat them as permanent parts of Russia, and respond to attacks there as "an attack on Russian territory"......which they have repeatedly said will trigger a nuclear response from Russia.
Things are getting hotter, not colder.
Zelenskyy and Putin had a peace deal negotiated in March. Biden/Pelosi Neocons killed that deal. They want full-on war with Russia now, or they want Putin toppled from power. Nothing else will satisfy them.
