Some areas were war zones a couple of decades ago and some areas face a corruption problem. We are talking about a vast country, think about comparing Alaska to Texas to California.

I'll probably take 3 weeks. But I'd like to see those three places Chechnya, Ossetia, and Ingushetia.

If its in the west side and you know Russian you can get there. If its in the east side and its not a major town then good luck. (depending on the weather it might be impossible to reach some places in the east)

Also just to be clear do you know how far away Vladivostock is from the rest?

Same as LA from New York. Meaning St. Petersburgh from Vladivostok. Probably have to take a train or fly there.

Yeah you got the idea, just keep in mind that pretty much all of the east side is lacking development.

I've seen some nice videos of Vladivostock. For some reason I've become enamoured with leggy Russian women. Yes, I know, women are the same wherever you go and shouldn't be put on a pedestal. Could just be programming or something like that.
