It occurs to me watching these rescue dog videos that there's something we can learn from them. Seems that no matter how beat down a dog is, he's ready to try happiness when it arrives. He is always ready to try to trust and try to grow a bond. They try very hard to be in a good and happy place in their life and are willing to even risk disappointment to try again and again for that result. People, on the other hand, see the glass half empty before they see anything else (me included) and seem to try to convince themselves they are miserable and the world is all wrong when there's no reason to be. We should all be more like rescued dogs, and be ready for the good things when they arrive. Thanks again for being man's best friend. Good dog!!!
