Our shelter is small enough that they do an annual recap of who was adopted and where they are now. They asked for a pic of our new guy so he can be included, cute promotion, but would only work at a small shelter like ours.
He is a knucklehead. He was returned multiple times for separation anxiety, which only made the situation worse. I’m self employed, so he gets to go to work every day, and is rarely alone, so perfect family for him. We did a DNA test, 14 breeds came back. Funny little fella. I love this goofball, he’s a good boy and will only get better in a stable and patient home.
That's a great idea. The closest thing we'd ever do to something like that was have a family gathering of a litter of puppies a year after they were adopted.
