All it does is remind people to consider adoption when looking for a dog. I have never adopted from a shelter (I don't like how they are all RFID-chipped and vaxxed) but I have considered it before. My first dog was a rescue, his previous owners were a married couple and neither wanted him when they divorced. He didn't land in a shelter though, a woman who was allergic to dogs took him in to prevent that from happening.
Fair points. I'll remove it, I get a little trigger happy I guess.
