Pretty sure modern "Israel" are descendants of the single tribe of Judah from amongst the 13 tribes of actual historical Israel and them masquerading under the name Israel is just a way to pretend they have a right to Palestinian land. Judah just doesn't have the same ring to it for propaganda purposes when you're shelling and bombarding your opposition. The fact that they pick the name Israel seems rather silly when they're just descendants of one of the 13 tribes till you realize why they use it.
