That means you're too stupid to understand the entirety of who you are and be honest with yourself. Understanding yourself and being truly honest to yourself means that you do know what you would do without consequences, and then you can make decisions beyond your own selfish needs. Needing some big scary godman to make you do it just means you're too weak to do it on your own.

Plus if no God exists, what do you care if you are "good" or "bad"? If God doesn't exist nothing matters except for self. If being good within your own moral box gets you off, go ahead. Seems kind of weak though.

Some day we will all kneel before Christ and call him Lord. Best to do it voluntarily. But in the end, if you continue as you are, God will honor your choice and leave you to yourself outside of his creation. A place of outer darkness with wailing and gnashing of teeth.

It does seem odd that God chose to have his son born of the jews. They weren't the most numerous, they weren't seeking God, they were stiff-necked and often rebellious. God's way of thinking is different from ours. Tbh, I would rather be born looking like Chris Helmsworth than what the average jew looks like. Some day I will know as God knows me. Until them there is a lot I don't understand but I have to live with it.
