Whether a person is "a good person" is subjective. Without evidence, so is religion. And with Christianity good deeds are usually entirely selfish: I want to go to heaven and avoid hell, therefore I'll do this good deed.
Good deeds don't get you to heaven in Christianity. Maybe you should actually look into it since you clearly misunderstand it.
Oh sure it's hidden behind layers of "spirit" and lies one tells oneself. There's a line of cause and effect in there. I have to believe and try not to sin and be forgiven when I do. But the whole thing is wrapped up with the carrot and the stick.
