Unfortunately the rest of society does need it. When you remove christianity humans will try to fill the void and they'll eventually do it with insane, druid, scientology nonsense. Just because you don't like it recognize that a decent society needs it. As shit as it's been and out of all the negativity it's also been a force of good.

I'm not against religion. Religion taught permanence beyond the leader at the time. It gave humanity a way to learn and teach beyond the now. I do have an issue with a religion that teaches subservience to keep people in line and happily oblivious. Christianity is simply a tool of the saduccee.
