Might've been me you heard that from, my speculation was based on how obvious that Key bridge is a key piece of US infrastructure makes it a strategic military target, that immediately makes me suspicious of a state actor with an active list of key strategic targets in the US, considering terror cells never once targeted strategic infrastructure that we know of, there were a two period of high rates of failure or explosion or fire in key industries like energy and food that could have been terrorism (eco-terrorism more likely than jihad) that got covered up. China, Russia, israel, Iran and maybe India, that is the short list, I doubt false flag for the same reasons I don't believe Putin blew up his own pipeline, we also have no record of using false flag terrorism to hit infrastructure in our territories. The obvious pick would be Russia because it happened within 36 hour of the russian "ISIS" attack BUT any of these other possible actors could have picked the timing to engineer a conflict. I suspect the attack is done via a security vulnerability similar or identical to the one used to remotely steer another person's car that was demonstrated by DARPA. A state actor trying to conceal itself would likely full steam at the bridge then cut power, resume control and cut power again to make it look like an accident or incompetence If we were to believe these were incompetence DEI would explain it and I think that puts india, israel and china out of the running Russia would prefer competent people in charge of our government nukes and military but also at all levels because rational people don't freak out about russian policy or behavior. India and china want to usurp our global position and recognize DEI helps them. israel wants to pollute us and wont endanger DEI. Iran doesn't seem to benefit from DEI in the US and so a strategy of maximum chaos and even implicating their russian allies doesn't seem like it would be beyond them. A number of NATO alies should share the capability for this store of attack but unless turkey is about to flip on us out of nowhere I don't see this as a remotely rational move. In short, need more data, but signs point to Russia who blames us for war, sanctions, bombing a pipeline, and terrorism. Could still be iran or israel but it would be the sloppiest move israel made since the USS liberty, and china may have sn emergency economic need to harm our economy due to their population and financial collapse and chinese governance is increasingly incoherent under Xi Jinping as his ministers fear him like a Saddam or Stalin and increasingly do stupid shit to get his approval. Depending on the crew, damage and strategic importance of that bridge I'll likely revise my opinion on who it could be. If it were russia I would have bet on another high profile new england harbor bridge because russia has some good will in the southern US and the lack of good alternate routes up north would make two bridges economic desolation to the land isolated between the downed bridges. There is also a chance that this plays out like the assassination of Julius Caesar, everyone with the capability and any motive just keeps doing it until in our flailing our allies with the capabilities join in to put us out of their misery.
